Receptions, Weddings and Parties

The 18th century Steading at Strathgarry is the perfect setting for weddings and parties of all kinds, enjoying spectacular views and wonderful food.

The Steading hall can seat up to 80 for lunch or dinner. For larger numbers, a marquee can be erected either over the walled garden courtyard at the centre of the Steading or the lawns beside it. There is ample parking and access for disabled people.

Menus
As far as possible, we use seasonal local produce but we are happy to produce any dishes that you like: from canapés for a drinks party to formal or informal lunches and dinners to banquets - accompanied by delicious wines.

We specialise in game - grouse, partridge, pheasant, woodcock, snipe, wild duck; and in venison, red deer, roe and fallow; and of course in famous Scottish beef and lamb. We also provide wild Scottish salmon, seatrout and brown trout, and excellent seafish as well as lobsters, crabs and prawns.

We grow most of our vegetables in our ancient walled garden - traditionally, with no pesticides.

We have fine wines as well as good inexpensive wines for everyday drinking. And, of course, malt whiskies are available in profusion, as well as armagnac.
