Strathgarry House

Strathgarry House is situated in the geographical heart of Scotland at the start of the Highlands. The countryside is stunningly beautiful - some of the last real wilderness in Northern Europe, with natural woodland, spectacular hills and moors, lochs, rivers and burns.

Fine foods and a warm welcome are the hallmark of a visit to Strathgarry House - whether you're visiting to enjoy the golf, walking, fishing, shooting or stalking, or holding an event at the house or our 18th century Steading.

Most of our visitors come by personal recommendation or as friends of friends - either for work, pleasure or both. As well as organising fishing and walking for guests, we also host conferences, seminars, weddings, parties, fashion shoots, filming and all manner of other events. A Summer Music Festival of Chamber Music takes place here annually, and concerts throughout the year ("Scotland's most desirable concert hall" - Guardian, 2000)

Strathgarry is a large, informal rambling house - not a hotel - but a private house offering comfortable accommodation for small groups - and outstanding food (see our visitors' book).
